Parking in the Capitol Complex is extremely limited, particularly during Legislative sessions. There is metered parking on most streets in the complex, operated and controlled by the City of Montgomery. Please note that meters have a two-hour maximum and that re-feeding of meters is prohibited by the Montgomery Police Department. The City of Montgomery currently assesses a $4.00 fine for each citation given for vehicles parked at expired meters.
Accessible parking (and the accessible entrance) is on the Washington Avenue side of the State House.
